Innovation is a cycle It’s not a destination!
Educational content of all kinds –videos, exam papers, clips, books, software and more..!
THE STORY OF SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS
What do ]we do differently from corporate employees?
What does NOT work is more valuable than good case studies, successful data.
What works for now, won’t work forever!
WE NEED: 1. Ubiquitous access (cables, ADSL and WiFi
rollout)
2. Digital Content repositories (offline /online and shared) will proliferate and then standardize.
We need to work together to make education available to everyone.
Educational media for all!
It’s about team work, and collaboration –authoring will get you there.
Conclusions
1. Innovation cycles don't end: space to showcase old and new solutions as the learning cycles continue. E.g. also / new is not everything: e.g. Radio is still here.
2. Teachers need both to be helped and heard: reach to share quality educational content to use next day:
3. The trend to amateur balanced by the learning from the professional: focus on quality of publication and broadcast.
4. Conference and open spaces for sharing both success and failure.
5. Formalizing and funding networks of technology in education: media4learning - join online; Also hearing informal gatherings of social entrepreneurs working in new ways for no money and no product punting. Both ways stretch.
Conclusions for learning landscapes Way forward
