SUNDAY MORNING CLASS SERIES
Church According to Paul: Participating Together in the Mission of God, A Study of Philippians, Colossians & Philemon
Our new adult Bible class series
b e g i n s t h e f i r s t S u n d a y i n
September. This series will pay
attention to how Paul talks about
the church in relation to God's
mission in the world using the
letters of Philippians, Colossians
and Philemon as the basis for our
conversation.
In his book, The Mission of God:
Unlocking the Bible's Grand
Narrative, Christopher Wright
makes a good observation: "It is
not so much the case that God has
a mission for his church in the world
but that God has a church for his
mission in the world." How do
Paul's letters reveal that mission,
and how does he call the church to
participate within it?
Join us for the conversation!
