43. 44. 45. 46. Technology is not a choice. Its not here to help you teach in a traditional way. It has created a completely new environment. It opens doors to opportunities.
The 21st century calls on students to be multi-lingual and multi-cultural. Students need to work in teams, find information, communicate it, and solve problems with it. Its a great world for learning!
47. We no longer need to be experts (geeks) to incorporate technology in our classroom.
48. Our classrooms
may have limited autonomy and resources, but their possibilities are unlimited. We can:
instill curiosity
engage and excite learners
create opportunities for learning
49. Technology is just a tool. In terms of getting students working together and motivating them, the teacher is the most important.
Bill Gates
50. Imagination is more important than knowledge.Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.
Albert Einstein
51. No excuses:
Idont know enough about technology
If you can use e-mail, save a Word document and open a Facebook account, you can handle most Web 2.0 tools.
I dont have time
Start with one tool. Work with it for one month or even two. Then start with another.
Im too busy
These tools will save you time.
But Im too old
Ha-Ha!
52. Thank you!
Diana Jones
