Prehistorica XXI-XXXI. Abstracts should be submitted by e-mail to [email protected]; further information is available from Dr. Mihael Budja, Department of Archaeology, University of Ljubljana, Askerceva 2, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia; or from the web-site: http://www.ff.uni-lj.si/arheologija/neolitik/seminars/s11.html.

In September 2005 proposals (with ca. 100 word abstracts in English and French) for Colloquia

or Workshops are due for the XVth Congress of the Union Internationale des Sciences Préhistoriques et Protohistoriques (XVth Congress of the U.I.S.P.P.), to be held in Lisbon on 4-9 September 2006, with pre- and post-Congress excursions beginning and ending on 28 August and 17 September, respectively. Colloquia must be organized by at least two coordinators from different countries, with the aims of bringing together up-dated perspectives on a major relevant topic, and of leading to specific conclusions; workshops address new research topics, either not considered by the Commissions or having a limited thematic scope, with the aim of promoting discussion on these topics and suggesting guidelines for further work. In April 2006 proposals (with ca. 100 word abstracts in English and French) for papers are due. On 30 June 2005 the period for the lowest fees for registration for this Congress will end, with progressively rising fees for later registration dates. Registration forms, forms for submitting proposals, and a list of Colloquia and Workshops already proposed with abstracts and contact information, and further information are available at http://www.uispp.ipt.pt/, or from Secretary of the XVth Congress of the U.I.S.P.P., c/.
