Bibliography The ethnobotanicalliterature has been growing swiftly over the last 100 years. This bibliogra- phy, a sampling of the range of sources that ethnobotanists consult, is by no means exhaustive. My hope is that it will encourage readers to expand their knowledge of ethnobotany well beyond the limits of this manual. Because of limitations of space, many excellent references have been omitted only because they were not specifically mentioned in the text. Many important documents exist only as unpublished papers or as manuscripts intended for local distribution. In this bibliography, I put the emphasis on published references that are widely available in libraries throughout the world, but I include some difficult-to-find works that are specifically mentioned in the text. Bibliography

The ethnobotanicalliterature has been growing swiftly over the last 100 years. This bibliography, a sampling of the range of sources that ethnobotanists consult, is by no means exhaustive.
