1. Remove existing roof shingles, fascia, eaves troughs and downspouts;

2. Investigate condition of substrate and replace any damaged or soft roof sheathing as required;

3. Install new roof shingles including underlay, flashing and additional roof vents to meet current codes, ARCA (Alberta

Roofing Contractors Association) & RCABC (Roofing Contractors Association of British Columbia) requirements (Refer to Appendix

A for typical roof section detail & sample asphalt shingle specification);

4. Shingles shall provide a minimum non-prorated warranty of 10 years and a maximum wind resistance of 175 km/hr.

5. Alternate option: shingles shall provide a minimum non-prorated warranty of 15 years and a maximum wind resistance of

210 km/hr.

6. Install new prefinished metal fascia

7. Install new pre-finished metal eaves troughs with a positive slope to drains.

8. Install a new pre-finished metal downspouts as required to achieve positive drainage. Each downspout to have a minimum

fixed 1220 mm extension at grade. Alternate option is to provide concrete splash pads at each location instead of the

downspout extension. All prefinished metal products to be standard dark brown.

General (JSG). The CCC portion of this project is to fit out 2 empty rooms on the 9th and 11th floor, to mimic existing courtrooms.

The Lethbridge Courthouse is located at 320 - 4 St., South Lethbridge, Alberta. The Lethbridge portion of the project is to

convert an existing library on the 3rd floor into two visiting judicial offices and judicial work space with barrier-free washrooms,

similar to the size of the existing judicial offices and work space.

The total project area for the CCC space is approximately 440 square meters. The Lethbridge Courthouse project area is

The Work involves relocating a 75,000 lb/hr rental (temporary) boiler, supplying steam to the

200 psig steam header, currently on site at the Foothills Medical Centre (FMC) facility in

Calgary, Alberta. The rental boiler will be moved approximately 20 ft east (away from the power

plant) from its current position. The power plant building is being expanded to the

south/southeast as part of another project and the rental boiler needs to be relocated to complete

this work. Also, a new natural gas line will be supplying the power plant in the rental boiler area,

and the rental boiler needs to be out of the way for the gas line to be installed. Once the gas line

is complete, the rental boiler can be placed in the new location.
