The Back Deck slat bundle is longer than the seat. Identify the correct slat supports as shown below,and fit under the slats. *Queen size pleasenote: The Slat supports for the BackDeck are longer than on the Seat.

The Bolts should be leftloose to make aligningthe parts easier.
Push fit or lightly tap the Wooden dowels into the ends of theSeat deck. Use 60mm bolts and Barrel nuts to fix theBack Side Rails to the Back deck.
Do not fully tighten any of the bolts yet!

With the Side Rails loosely bolted in place,ease the ends of the slats into the grooves onthe side rails. Only when all the parts are correctlyin place, should you tighten all the Bolts.
Finally, fit the two wood buttons.

Attach Arms to Stretchers.6C
Using Bolts and Barrel Nuts attach theArms loosely to the Stretchers as shown.
It is important that these Boltsare left LOOSE!
Be sure the holes arefree of wood chipsand saw dust.
Do not force the Boltas you may strip thethread. Be sure thethread is properly started.

BOLT AND BARREL NUTASSEMBLY SYSTEMInsert Barrel Nuts as shown using a screwdriver. This will help you position the Nut inline with the Bolt.

6A Fasten Stretcher Brackets to the Arms:
A. Insert the Stretcher Bracket Cleat into the hole provided.
B. IMPORTANT: Don't fully tighten Bracket until Stretchers are all in place for easy alignment.

Tap dowels all the way into the middle hole at each end of the Stretchers.

Fit the Back Deck into Position.
Use 2 People!
Please Note:
Tighten all the Bolts.7B

When you have the Back Deckfitted lying flat, tightenall the Bolts.
Insert the Back Deck lying flat. Insert oneend first, then gently lower the other endinto position.
Remember that the Bolts on the Arm should be LOOSE.
Be careful not to scratch the Arms with the Plastic Runners when you lower the ends of the Back Deck.

All four joints mustbe left LOOSE.

Lock the Clevis Pin in place.Rotate the Clevis Pin down so it isretained by the Plastic Stopper.
