“Advantages of working with Big Boys”
-They have their market segment
- To Increase the Hotels’ occupancy
-They Make the hotels better known
“ Disadvantages of working with “Big Boys”
-Their commissions are very high, which reflects in the hotels’ revenue
-Their customers to not become the hotels’ customers. Hotels do not have access to the OTAs customers profile
-Difficult to control Otas’ rates, make the hoteliers lose their rate parity.
Hotel / reservations
- Use the Big Boys have a big distribution,
- Once, get the OTAs customers in the hotel, hotelier can make them loyal to their hotels.
- Hotelier expect the customrs to come back their hotels by booking directly with the Hotel’s reservation.
Advertisement:
-To not use Big Boys because its is too expensive.
-To create its own hotel’s website and develop the digital marketing and the social media.
