    Brady graduated from the KanCity Art Institute in 1991 and won to attend the SkowheganResidency Program in SkowheMaine. He attended graduateschool at the School of Visual in New York City and worked aGuggenheim Museum of Art aChase Manhattan Bank, whereoversaw their growing collectio

    fine art. In fall 2001, his first gaopened in a small storefront spin New Yorks East Village. Asway of financing the gallery heinstalled an operational ATM infront window, thus becoming AGallery. He later moved to hislargest location in Chelsea.

    The gallery became known for

    introducing emerging contempartists such as Japanese artistTomoo Gokita, whose work haSurrealist and Op-Art flavor,traditional documentaryphotographer Peter Sutherlandand abstract conceptualists likKCAI alumni Gordon Terry andSall are also among his stable New York artists.

    Through phone interview and tmessaging, Brady says he isdiscussing the possibility of a tperson show at his new spaceinternationally-recognizedminimalist Joe Bradley.

    Known for his easy assemblyirony and slacker aesthetic,Bradley uses a highly simplifiepainterly quality that suggestsassociations with mass media futuristic style. He often finds fart's commodifying influences addressing the simpatico ofcommodification and contempoart.

    Hoping to find a strong collectobase in Kansas City, Bradyunderstands theyre already heand will look for new avenues understanding visual art that ehere already and underscoringnew and current collectors.
