BIM New Royal Adelaide Hospital
nRAH:BSA Limited has been awarded the contract for the new Royal
Adelaide Hospital as the tier one contractor.
� The hospital has 10 levels with 800 beds. A floor area of
185,000sqm and in excess of 110,000sqm of ductwork .
� Hansen Yuncken Leighton Contractors (HYLC) is fully engaged
in providing a complete BIM package from design stage to as-
built stage.
� As part of the BIM process the project will utilise all of our BIM
related software and skills across all platforms, which include;
Revit, CADmep, ESTmep, FABmep, CAMduct , Navisworks, our
Trimble Robotic Total Stations and Facilities Management Tools

� Throughout the lifecycle of the project, HYLC are committed to
tracking all types of equipment from architectural to
mechanical. This information will be tracked via a simple ID
code which can then be combined into a facilities management
program ARTRA.
� To help with the onsite delivery and distribution of a large
amount of deliveries each day. Utilising ID reference, each
component can be tracked during manufacturing stages
through RFID or barcoding.
� Pre-Fabrication and modulisation are key requirements from
the client.
