The panel will be led by Katja Sterflinger. Panel members will include: Ji-Dong Gu, Geoff Robson, Thomas Warscheid, Malcolm Greenhalgh, Kath Whitehead and Brenda Little. As a community dealing with all aspects of biodeterioration and biodegradation we need to continuously update techniques and approaches to ensure that mistakes from the past are not perpetuated. Standards need to be developed and tested so that newly generated data can be compared across disciplines and research groups. The panel discussion will provide an open forum for discussion of these and related issues. All those Interested in this topic are invited to attend and participate.
