Most are made from plants, which is a renewable resource, unlike biofuels.

In the past year 14% of all corn went to Biofuel production.

We are studying ways to use wild grasses, in land plots that have no use.

Less Polluting way to Fuel Vehicles

Biofuels are part of a natural Carbon cycle; while Fossil Fuel disrupts the cycle.

Sustainable biofuels could be made from cellulose

Disadvantages - Take A Lot to Make

May cause more environmental issues and pollution than other petroleum based fuels.

Herbicides and chemical fertilizers that are need to create Biofuels; can cause pollution.

Land and Trees have to be cleared to harvest crops for biofuels.
