Since 1966 Pneumatech has been an industry leader in compressed air and gas treatment. Our customers are some of the largest companies in the world and our equipment is placed throughout the far reaches of the globe.

Pneumatech introduced a line of specialized Biogas drying systems in 1985 with the singular vision of designing top quality equipment that exceeded our customer’s expectations. As an illustration of our commitment to quality, our very fi rst gas dryer was put in service that same year, and is still in service today.

Through the years, Pneumatech has introduced several innovations in the fi eld such as infi nite unloading compressors which dynamically adjust to plant production to signifi cantly reduce parasitic load. Pneumatech also pioneered the industry through the use of no-gas loss condensate drains, creating a safer ambient environment; gas to gas heat exchangers to reheat the chilled gas to minimize volume loss; state of the art electronics that integrate into site management software and controls and safeties that ensure your equipment is protected in the most demanding of conditions.

Innovation, quality and commitment to service sets Pneumatech apart.

1. Gas enters the gas-to-gas heat exchanger where it is pre-cooled by the exiting chilled gas. Precooling the gas in this manner allows for a smaller and more effi cient refrigeration circuit.

2. Pre-cooled gas enters the gas-to-refrigerant heat exchanger where the gas is chilled to a temperature of 40 degrees Fahrenheit. When the temperature of the saturated gas drops, moisture condenses out of the gas stream.

3. Chilled gas exits the gas-to-refrigerant heat exchanger and enters the fi ve stage centrifugal separator where the velocity of the gas is reduced, and the condensate is separated from the gas stream. The separator design maintains high effi ciency over a wide range of fl ow conditions. Solids of 10 microns or larger are also removed to 99% or better effi ciency. Condensate empties into No-Gas Loss drains which expel condensate as the level rises in the reservoir.

4. Chilled, dry gas enters the gas-to-gas heat exchanger where the gas is reheated by the hot incoming gas to prevent pipe sweating downstream of the dryer.

Alternate design includes the use of food grade propylene glycol as a cooling media. This design allows for greater capacity correction and energy effi ciency in low load situations.

Pneumatech supplies a full range of coalescing, particulate and adsorber fi lters. Filters can be sized to meet a variety of micron ratings, grades and effi ciencies. Consult factory for replacement elements for competitive fi lter housings.

Oil Mist Removers

Pneumatech can size and supply stainless steel, aircooled aftercoolers in a variety of sizes. Aftercoolers can be skid mounted with dryers to maintain a clean design and a single point of gas treatment.

Pneumatech No-Gas Loss drains set the industry standard for performance and reliability. Explosion proof electrical, poly carbonate bowls, stainless steel hardware and valves, withstand the rigors of biogas applications. Also available are instrument air actuated drains with 1/2 inch, full opening ball valves for extreme applications.

In any lubricated gas compressor, sub-micron oil and water particles are present in the gas output stream. These mist particles are formed during the compression cycle and aftercooling process. The water, oil and particles, combine to form an acidic, corrosive mixture that can damage downstream equipment. Pneumatech oil mist removers use multiple collection mechanisms with suffi cient bed contact time to remove the particles from the compressed gas stream.
