Biography of Thabi Ncube

THABI NCUBE was born in Kwa-Zulu Natal, in a township called Kwa-mashu.. Thabi

was raised by her single grandmother, a very strong and cultured woman who worked

as a domestic worker who has always been her pillar of strength and instilled great

values which Thabi will like to pass to her two kids.

Thabi holds Bachelor of Commerce (“B Com”) Honours degree - Certified Chartered

Accountant (“CTA”) through University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. Thabi did her articles

through one of the big four auditing firms, Ernst and Young in Durban. She then moved

to Johannesburg and worked Standard Bank of SA, later joined ABSA Group and

currently working for Industrial Development Corporation (“IDC”).

Thabi has always been a gym fanatic but only attended aerobics and dance classes

until in March 2011 where she developed the love for bodybuilding, through her

dedication, commitment and a great potential, she was assisted to transform into a

fitness Model. Thabi started competing in Bodybuilding competitions since July 2011 and has

achieved the following placing:

- WPF Welkom Classic: Miss Bikini

- Body Beautiful South Africa: Miss Bikini

- WPF Silverstar Classic: Overall Woman category

3rd position

Highlight: Thabi represented South Africa in her category Miss Bikini, the first ever

category to be included in the WPF Bodybuilding World Championships. Thabi was

crowned Miss Bikini Universe 2011 within 5 months of her fitness and physique space.

Thabi also entered USN Face of Fitness hosted by USN, Fitness Magazine in

association with Trojan in September 2011, almost 150 contestants from South Africa

entered the competition. The criterion was toned physique, knowledge about health and

fitness as well as living a healthy lifestyle. Thabi made it to Top 6. As a result of this

competition, Thabi was sponsored by USN for 12 months in 2012.

Currently, Thabi is an ambassador for Trojan (South Africa's home fitness equipment

brand).
