Advantages of Fluidized Bed Combustion

• Wide fuel flexibility- Wide variation in heating value and fuel

type• Controlled combustion

- Very high burn-out of ashes, lowemissions and high thermal efficiency

• Simple construction- High reliability- Low maintenance

HYBEX - Bubbling Fluidized Bed boilers

• For biomass fuels with varying heating value and moisture content

Fuel quality requirements

• Heating value for Bubbling Fluidized Bed combustion- Normal design: max 13 MJ/kg- Higher values possible with special design

• Alkalines (Na+K)- Below 0,2% of dry solids for regular sand

• Risk with one-year crops- Higher value possible with AggloStop bed material

• Metallic Al+ total Pb+Zn+Sn- No waste fuels accepted for biomass design- Up to 1% for waste boiler design
