BIOMETRIC??Basically Bio means “Life”.While Metro means “To Measure”

Biometric means identifying an individual based upon his/her physical characteristics.

AUTHENTICATION… While authentication is a process of

giving some one identity so that he/she can access that particular application or data.

For example…giving identity card to a students of university.

BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION…

So biometric authentication system is a system that detect the identity of a person by using the specific part of human body.

For E.g By using finger prints, or detect the identity bye using the face of human or voice etc…

TYPES OF AUTHENTICATION…

By using passwords or pin codes.

By using smart cards or any other form of cards.

By using biometric authentication system.
