Quotation Document for Library purchase
1- Sealed Quotations are being invited by the office of the Registrar BTKIT, Dwarahat up to 27th Oct 2013, 11.30AM. For the supply the books as listed in enclosued documents.
2- The Sealed envelope containing quotation/Expression of interest must be shown/ written as quotation/expression of interest for supply of books.The list of available books that can be supplied by bidder must enclosed in the bid.
3- The bidder are requested to submit sealed envelope containing quotations in the office of the Registrar BTKIT, Dwarahat , personally on to the date & time as mentioned above. No delay shall be considered by the institute.
4- Quotations must be self explainling and the rates must be written in words and figures both so that the altractions could be avoided.
5- Any correction made in the quotation should be duly signed in full by the authorized signatory.
6- The quantity of Books Items shown in the list/documents may vary depending upon the actual requirement.
7- The ordered books/items will have to be supplied within the time as per the purchase order issued by the college office.

8- The college reserves the right to cancel/reject in full or in parts of the quotations /tenders without assigning any reason.
9- In case of any dispute, the decision of college authorities shall be
final and binding to all.
10- The quotations/exp. Of interest should accompany with the list of
Tech. Institutions to which the books etc. have been supplied by the
party quoting the rates.
11- The college shall not own any responsibility of duplicacy/copy right
and all kind of legal matters shall be dealt by the party/firms who
supply the books etc.
14- The rates may be quoted on the following basis as:
(i) Discounts on authorized publisher price list. (ii) Discounts on the books mentioned in the list. (iii) Over all discount on all books mentioned in the list.
15- Certificate: The books/journals etc. supplied by me/us are genuinely
published/purchase from publisher by me and to the best of my
knowledge, there is no depute of any kind in the terms supplied by
me/us.

(Additional terms & conditions of the library)

1- Authorized price list of the publisher shall be required for payment of the bills of the purchase.
2- Quotationer shall be required to supply of all the books ordered. The books which are out of print and if ordered shall be considered as out of print order which can be removed from the ordered list on the production of out of print certificate from the publisher
3- If quotationer fails to supply any book as ordered, he shall be required to submit the valid reason acceptable to the college authority or officer in charge, Library.
4- If tenderer/ quotationer fails to supply any book as ordered without any valid reason as above, the college shall have right to black list / cancel the rate contract or not purchase the ordered books.
5- The earnest money of Rs. 5 Lacs may also be forfeited in the case as described above in Para 4.
6- The orders for the purchase of the books may be made in different parts or fractions as and when the books requirement is generated in the library. The quotationer shall not have the right to ask for bulk purchase or so.
7- All the responsibility shall be on the tenderer/ quotationer for copyright / Duplicacy/ or any kind of legal matters. The college shall not own any responsibility of purchased items what so ever.
8- The bidder must confirm the list of books that he/she can supply review in the market.
