ever, things go wrong - schedules fall apart of plane delays or mechanical problems, that makes a problem for operation directors

What do you think Richard Heard actually does each day (how does he spend his time)?
• Some time of his working day he should be spending on planning processes: long-term planning, reviewing and developing processes, operational planning.
• The rest of time he should spend on the everyday activities, controlling that what was planned is in the place. It includes controlling the effectiveness of the processes and procedures, overseeing day-to-day running of the airport, short and medium-term planning.
• He coordinates and sets the safety and customer standards for everyone to adhere to.
