Component Name Description
Office Button A drop down menu contains a number of options, such asopen, save, print, and etc
Quick Access
Toolbar
A collection of buttons that provide one-click access to
commonly used commands, such as Save, Undo, and repeat
Title Bar A bar that displays the name of the active workbook and theExcel program name
Ribbon Strip of buttons and icons located above work area

Component Name Description
Select All Button A button used to select all of the cells in the active worksheet
Active Cell The cell with black outline. Data is always entered into thiscell.
Name Box Displays the cell reference or the name of the active cell.
Formula Bar Displays the content of the active cell. Can also be used toenter or edit data and formulas.
