The Fine Arts Program at Pullam Elementary consists of the Choir, Honor’s Choir, Estudiantina, Guitar Club, and Ballroom Dancing! Through these extracurricular activities students develop great self esteem, teamwork social skills, and self-confidence.

Pullam Elementary promotes a healthy lifestyle for parents and students through Red Ribbon Week activities, participating in district health fairs, and community sponsored runs. Participation in the Breakfast in a Bag program ensured that students had a healthy breakfast .

Parents are highly encouraged to be a part of their children’s education at Pullam Elementary. Parental meeting are conducted throughout the year to inform and educate parents on how to help their children succeed academically. The student population at Pullam Elementary is prevalently Hispanic. Students receive a wide range of supplemental academic supports to promote the development of second language skills. Parents are also encouraged to participate in campus events to learn strategies that will enable them to assist their children academically.

Dropout Prevention Strategies
rated RecognizedA number of dropout prevention strategies are utilized at Pullam. At-Risk students closely monitored and are offered a wide variety of programs to enhance their academic instruction, including after school and Saturday tutorials. In addition, attendance is monitored daily and small group instruction is part of the instructional day.

Gifted and Talented Program rated Recognized
At Pullam Elementary teachers are trained to identify and nominate students to the Gifted and Talented Program. Personnel are trained on different methods to service the Gifted and Talented population and numerous extracurricular opportunities are offered for students to partake in.
