ing food and drink to those in the know for over 30years.

We took over in April 2012, and we’re happy tohave kept the bar’s unique character and charm

while at the same time modernising its facilities.

Bishops has been variously described by our cus-tomers as a timewarp, the most unique, most ami-

cable, oddest, best, coolest and hardest to findbar in Croydon.

After years of being solely a lunchtime venue,we’re now open into the evening too - at present

our guide is that we close at 7pm but if we’rebusy, we’ll stay open up to 11pm. If you’re not sure

whether we’re open or not, just give us a ring.

We’re also happy to accommodate parties anddo’s of all sizes during the day or evening, we can

provide catering and we offer free venue hire.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly, relaxedand, above all, safe place for anyone who wantsan informal and amiable atmosphere in which tochat with friends (and invariably make new ones)

while enjoying a few drinks and some qualityhome-made food.

Walking Directions:

Walk along the Wellesley Road from GeorgeStreet towards the Whitgift Centre,

Turn left into Allders Way (sometimes calledDingwall Avenue - near the HSBC) the back

entrance of Allders will be in front of you, with acar park on your right. Turn right into the car

park, you'll see a ramp to your left, go up theramp and straight in front of you is an exit.

Turn left out of the exit and we're there!

Alternatively you can get to us through theWhitgift Car Park (follow the Park and Dine

signs), or through the Whitgift Centre (Level 2Centre Tower exit) during their opening hours.
