BISLERI – AWARD CEREMONY

Bisleri International PVT. Ltd. organised a plastic bottle collection drive in January 2017. PPS

students collected old, used PET bottles weighing 1.5 tons. It was a great feat which Bisleri

wished to applaud.

An award ceremony was organised in the school auditorium on 14.7.2017.

Bisleri presented trophies and certificates to the classes and students who had collected the

largest number of bottles in the Primary, Secondary and Pre-primary Sections. The class

teachers collected the prizes awarded to the classes. Bisleri also presented a trophy and

certificate to the school; this was received by the Principal. This was to applaud the efforts of

the school in surpassing the collections of all other schools by a massive margin. Bisleri would

then hand over the collected bottles to Parisar Bhagini Vikas Sangh, an all women waste pickers

organization (NGO) in Mumbai, who would send them for recycling. The proceeds generated

from the scrap bottles would be utilized for the welfare of their children, education, healthcare

etc. The CSR Head, Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Conrad Alves, addressed the students

gathered in the school auditorium and encouraged to continue making efforts to save the

environment.
