The first theories of the existence of what we call a black hole appeared a long time ago, on the 18th century.
In 1915, Albert Einstein developed the theory of relativity.
Bohr brought the new that the Germans had achieved atomic fission.
When World War 2 ended, Wheeler was responsible for the education of the next generations of scientists.
Actually, the world-famous Stephen Hawking has popularised the concept of black holes, starting with his book: “Black Holes and the History of Time”
Hawking concluded that as a black hole absorbs light but doesn’t let it out, so it’s invisible from the outside.
In 1963, Roy Kerr had already purposed that all black holes wich existed in a four-dimensional space should be spherical and determined by three parameters: their mass, their total electric charge and their angular moment.
