The braking system is used to help control backlash during a cast. You can control the rotation of the spool by applying magnetic force to the spool with the dial located on the outside of the palming side-plate. Cast Control Knob The cast control knob is located on the handle side under the star drag. Its purpose is to apply continuous friction to the end of the spool shaft, assisting the centrifugal brake system in maintaining the correct spool speed to prevent backlashes. To set the cast control, tie on your lure and reel it to the tip of the rod. Tighten the knob until it feels snug. Push the thumb bar. Your lure should not move. Hold the rod at a 2 o'clock position and slowly turn the knob counter-clockwise until the lure starts to fall. Let the lure hit the ground and watch the spool. The spool should not spin more than one revolution after the lure hits the ground. If it spins more than one revolution, tighten the cast control knob and repeat the procedure. If the spool does not spin after the lure hits the ground, the cast control is set too tight. Loosen the knob and repeat the procedure. FMB system Free Zone Magnetic Brake The Reel is based on Free Zone Magnetic Brake System and it is possible to control by fine- tuning. Brake control dial is on the side cover. The system control spool rotation by magnetic force between side of Aluminum spool & magnetic part Brake force can be controlled by fine-tuning with brake dial like as right side picture. In the range of ´´FREE´´,brake System hardly works, and spool can be rotated without any resistance. In the range of ´´1´ to ´´10´´, brake system works and the brake force will be more increased at the range of ´´10´´. The above instruction explains the way how to control Magnetic Brake, and you can control and use the system to the other ways by youself according to users´ fishing experience and condition. TM Powerlock Instant Anti-Reverse TM The URANO BS GTO is equiped with a Powerlock instant anti-reverse system. This is a special type of bearing that allows the handle to only turn forward. There is no play in the handle, so you have complete control during the retrieve and no «loose» feeling which is important during stop-and-go retrieves. Removal of palming Side-Plate To remove the palming side-plate, twist the palming side-plate in an upward direction while pulling the plunger located on the gear side-plate out. O sistema de freio é usado para ajudar no controle do Backlash (cabeleira) durante o arremesso. Você pode controlar a rotação do carretel aplicando força magnética sobre ele com o botão localizado no lado de fora da tampa lateral. Sistema de regulagem da fricção do carretel O botão (cast control cap) está localizado no lado da manivela abaixo da estrela do freio. Sua função é aplicar uma fricção contínua no final do eixo do carretel, auxiliando o sistema de freio a manter a velocidade correta do carretel para evitar backlashes (cabeleiras). Para ajustar o controle de arremesso, regule o botão até o carretel ficar travado, prenda a isca e posicione-a com a carretilha até a ponta da vara. Destrave a carretilha e sua isca deverá permanecer no mesmo lugar. Gire lentamente o botão no sentido anti-horário até que a isca desça lentamente. Deixe a isca atingir o solo e observe o carretel. O carretel não deverá girar mais do que uma rotação depois da isca atingir o solo. Caso ele gire mais do que uma rotação, aperte o cast control knob e repita o procedimento. Se o carretel não girar depois que a isca atingir o solo, o cast control está apertado demais. Afrouxe o knob e repita a operação. Sistema FMB, zona livre do freio magnético. O sistema controla a rotação do carretel por força magnética entre o lado do carretel de alumínio e o sistema magnético, pode ser controlado por ajuste fino no botão localizado do lado oposto a manivela. Na posição livre, dificilmente funciona o sistema magnético, o carretel trabalha sem resistência. Na regulagem de ``1` a ``10`` o funcionamento do freio irá aumentando até a regulagem máxima de ``10``. A instrução explica a maneira como usar o freio magnético, você pode controlar os sistemas de outras formas de acordo a experiência e a condição de pesca. TM Anti-reverso Instantâneo Powerlock A URANO BS GTO está equipada com um sistema anti-reverso instantâneo “POWERLOCK”. Este é um tipo especial de rolamento que permite que a manivela gire somente para frente. Com esse sistema não há jogo na manivela, então você pode ter controle completo durante o recolhimento e não terá a sensação de recuo durante a parada e ida do recolhimento. Remoção da Tampa Lateral Para remover a tampa lateral, gire-a para cima enquanto puxa o pino localizado na parte de fora da tampa lateral. / Black Silver
