Black Stallion is well suited to a wide range of soils types
from heavy alluvial soils right through to lighter sandy
soils.

• Removestockassoonasleafyportionsareeaten.
• Ifthecropisnotgrazedtoohard,andthestemsand
basicplantskeletonsareleftintact,thereshouldbe
maximum recovery and regrowth.
• Willnotrecoverifcutbelow15cm.
Sowing
Black Stallion should be planted at 10-30 kg/ha. Use
heavier seeding rates for irrigation and where weed
populations are expected to be high. For a companion
crop, rateshouldbe50-60%of the recommended rate
for the individual variety.
