The story of the
BLaiD ProjectOct. 2007 – June 2009
Our common project was
Blended Learning
and Intercultural Dialogue.
Most of the results of our experimenting
with various programmes, sites and medias
is published on the internet on
http://docweb.khk.be/KHK/BLAID/
SlideShare.net and on Flickr.com
The following presentation
consists of a number of
screendumps of what can be
found on the internet.
The second step
of the planning started in
Aarhus, Denmark
In April 2008
students and teachers met
and presented their achievements
on the common topic
”My town”
in Brussels and Geel
in Belgium
In October 2008
students and teachers met again
for further presentation of achievements on the common topic
”You and Me in Europe”
and mutual inspiration
in Arendal, Norway
Rob with the Belgian student group,
Who like everybody else had prepared different presentations
”You and me in Europe” by the Dutch student group.
The Danish student group had made a small video interviewing people around their school in Aarhus –
asking just one question:
”When do you feel, that you are a citizen of Europe?”
The immigrant students
at the Norwegian language school
had made a heart touching
PhotoStory with music,
where they told about their ideas and dreams
of Europe and Norway
before and after their arrival.
At each place, we spent time on seeing
the localities of the educational institutions.
Here it is a language lab
at the Norwegian school of adult teaching,
and Joanna is demonstrating, how to produce
a perfect pronunciation of
the Norwegian letter Y
Anja from the Netherlands showed us how to use the free internet-community
www.ning.com
And only a few days after returning
from Norway, many of us had joined the page
where we shared photos and films.
Please notice, how each person can personalize his or her page.

The Dutch group with Anja, who introduced www.ning.com to us.
On 21st November 2008
every member of the BLaiD-group
were to take five photos of their day
and post them on Flickr
in a Blaid day group pool.

On 26th November 2008 the Dialogue Bench
was introduced in Aarhus, Denmark.
So far the Blended Learning Project
has been a great inspiration
and every participant has learned a lot.
At the moment, we are looking forward to
the final meeting in Lithuania
in June 2008.
Hopefully our pages on
http://docweb.khk.be/KHK/BLAID/
will be an inspiration for others.
Thanks to EU for making the project possible.
BLaiD´ers from six European countries.
