RESEARCH INTERESTS Plant systematics and related fields of biogeography and conservation are my main interests. I have a research interest on Neotropical ferns, and I have contributed to several treatments and floras, and I have used the group for interpreting ecological and biogeographical aspects of Peru’s plant diversity. Plant conservation, plant uses, and aspects of plant domestication are also an important part of my current interests. During the last nine years, I have been involved in the development of a compilation and evaluation of wild relatives of crops worldwide.
