The players will learn proper technique for dribbling, shooting, and various other aspects of the game, and will build self-esteem and good sportsmanship through teamwork based activities. Advanced skills are incorporated in dynamic ways, and modifications to games are provided to help all players succeed in an engaging and supportive environment. Basketball is an excellent way to build physical endurance and strength, but also a wonderful way to build mental strength and patience! Modified equipment and activities are designed to help each student reach a new level of success in an engaging and supportive environment.
Come relax away your long school day in our chilled-out meditation and yoga space with Yogi Imran who is very loved at HSH! Each session will include breathing practices to help calm the mind and manage stress, yoga games to stretch, strengthen, and refresh the body, and will conclude with a relaxing sound meditation that incorporates singing bowls, chimes, and various mediums of stress-relieving music. Students will have opportunities to play with the instruments themselves and explore the sounds of relaxation and also discover the magic of crystals. No prior experience necessary, this class is accessible to beginners and experienced yogis. The goal of these sessions is to empower the students and help them realize the strength and ability they have within themselves to manage stress and anything else life throws at them. Yoga is also a great activity to add in conjunction with other sports to help recovery, balance, and focus. Building this mind-body connection at an early age is crucial in developing healthy and happy humans!

Dancers learn to explore movement through creative exploration, storytelling, props, and music.
Creative Dancers- Learning and expanding ballet steps and concepts, dancers master basic ballet movements and integrate their own creativity through movement explorations and dance routines. Ballet helps dancers develop self-discipline, creative expression, and social-emotional learning. Students in Ballet perform more challenging and complex movements as they become confident and comfortable with dancing on their own.
The session ends with a lively performance for both
groups and each student receives a hand-made costume!

Strap on your gear, get on your binoculars, and join the Egghead Explorer Squad as we fizz, pop, mix, and experiment our way around the Earth! As Egghead Explorers, students will make a sundial to keep track of the time, a flashlight to see in the dark, fake tar pits, fossils, volcanoes, snow, magnetic bumper cars, and tons more. The best part? They get to take it all home! All Eggheads will also get their Explorer ID card, authorizing them to use real science to explore the globe. At the end of the session, students will receive an Egghead Explorer Degree.

writing stories about superheroes, animal friends, silly characters, and even some favorite snack items that have come to life! Comic Crew Studio is a delightful space for students to enjoy free writing and collaborating with their peers. Each child will be given the creative freedom to design their own comic books with a title page, story-filled pages (complete with illustrations), and a back cover. Imagination is our inspiration. Let’s get writing!

tons more! Then, we’ll put our robots to the test as everyone controls their own bot with their tablet as we try to get them to beat our mazes, sound the alarm, and pass our challenges. We’ll make Chompy, Forky, the Grabitron, BattleBot,and tons more! At the end of the session, students will get their very own Egghead Robotics degree, certifying them to make their own creations! Come join the Egghead Engineering Team this session as we design and build huge structures! Using LEGO™, students will build mega bridges that can withstand over 4 lbs. of weight, 4 foot tall skyscrapers, gigantic pyramids, and tons more. Then, we’ll try to knock em down, crush them, and put them to the test! At the end of the session, students will receive an Egghead Engineering Super Structures Degree.
LEGO STORYTELLING$330 | Thursdays | JK-Kinder | 3:45-4:45 | Min: 7 Max: 12Do your kids love Legos? Now they can use one of their favorite toys to tell their very own stories! We will help your children storyboard and photograph each scene in their story. The ideas will be theirs, the
sets will be built by them, and we will help them operate the cameras to capture their stories in a visual and memorable format that will be yours to treasure. After all the scenes have been created, the kids will provide a narrative voice over and choose the music that best fits their movie. This class is the ultimate place to play with Legos and learn how to tell a story. All stories will be available to view and download.

students will create and animate their own super hero movies using the art of stop-motion animation. The class starts with creating your own Marvel or DC hero or super villain. Students will then create the stories, film the movie, and become the voices for all the characters. By the end of class, you will have created your own animated super hero movie as well as answered the question of which universe is better - Marvel or DC. All movies will be available to view and download.
