My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Blessed Sacrament Parish Easter Sunday April 12, 2020 Sunday, April 12, 2020 Divine Mercy Sunday Acts of the Apostles 2:42-47 (43A) 1 Peter 1:3-9 John 20:19-31 An Act of Spiritual Communion Catholics are encouraged to make frequent, even daily, Communion. When we cannot fulfill our obliga- tion to attend Mass, Catholics are encouraged to daily make an Act of Spiritual Communion. In this act of Spiritual Communion, we express our faith in Christ, His Presence in the Eucharist, and we ask Him to unite Himself with us. Why make this Act daily? Because each Act of Spiritual Communion increases our desire to received Holy Communion, helps us to avoid sin and can strengthen us until we can receive Holy Commun- ion once again. The basic elements of an Act of Spiritual Communion are an Act of Faith; an Act of Love; a desire to receive Christ; and an invitation to Him to come into your heart When should you make an Act of Spiritual Communion Join us for Mass…... Blessed Sacrament is Live-Streaming Mass on a daily basis. Join us on our website at bsctlh.com. If you are unable to join us at the time of the livestream, Masses are recorded and may be viewed at a later time. NOTE: the livestreaming link will take you to our FaceBook. You do not have to have a personal FaceBook account to view our FaceBook. During Mass, the Act of Spiritual Communion will be recited. From the Church Mouse….. Where are you….. As the coronavirus continues and social distancing has become the new catch-phase, we “see” each other less and less. The staff at Blessed Sacrament also misses our parishioners, students and visitors. Therefore, for the past 2 weeks, the staff has been reaching out to all our registered parishioners. To date, we have at- tempted to telephone over 1,000 households. But, we have found that not all the information is current (i.e. the landlines are no longer in service). We are continuing calls. However, if you have not heard from us, it very well may be because we can- not find you. But, we want to hear from you. Go to bsctlh.com and signup to receive messages (See below on website). Or you may email us at of- [email protected] or call and leave a message at (850) 222-1321. We would like to speak to every parishioner. New Parishioners…. Bishop Wack has released a letter regarding the Plenary Indulgence from

    Pope Francis.

"While the doors of our churches may be closed right now, the doors of

God’s mercy are always wide open. Our Holy Father, Pope Francis, has

therefore offered to all the faithful the possibility of obtaining a Plenary

Indulgence; that is, the complete forgiveness of sins, during this

    extraordinary time..."
