Mass Intentions for the Week

B S C A F R

Dear Parishioners, The end of summer 2017 is upon us. I hope that each one of you had some time to rest and relax. God blesses us when we find the balance between work and rest placing Him always first by keeping His Commandments. Slowly, but surely we return to our daily duties and routines. The catholic and public schools as well already started the new academic year. On Sunday, September 17th we will celebrate Catechetical Sunday. We ask for God’s blessing for all Catechists of our Confirmation and First Holy Communion program. Classes will start as follows: First Holy Communion Classes. Begin on Sat., Sept., 9th at

10:30 a.m. in the parish hall. First Year Confirmation. Begins Wed., Sept. 13th at 6:00 p.m. in

the parish hall. Second Year Confirmation (Two groups). Begins Sun., Sept.,

10th 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. & 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the parish hall. Adult Sacramental Classes. Begin Sun., Sept. 10th at 11 a.m. in

the Parish Hall. Youth Group. Will resume their weekly meetings on Wed., Sept.

13th at 7:00 p.m. in the parish hall. Refreshed in mind and spirit let’s continue our working together for God’s greater glory and for the goodness of our parish, passing our faith to the next generations. Traditionally by the end of summer the Parish Financial Report is publicized to let our parishioners know about our financial status and as to how your money from the collections is used and distributed. We know that our parish has several expenses but thanks be to the Divine Providence and your great generosity we are financially doing very well, even though our Sunday envelope collection this year was short $23,644.14 in comparison to the previous year. At their last meeting, our Parish Finance Council approved the budget for fiscal year 2017-2018. The parish financial report along with the proposed budget can be found in this weekend’s bulletin. Please take one home to see it. Of course a more detailed version of this condensed statement is available for you in the parish office. Once again I would like say “THANK YOU” to each one of you, for sharing your time, talents and treasure. May God bless you and your loved ones. Fr. Wojciech

We especially pray every Wednesday after the evening Mass during the Novena of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. Let us pray also for those whom God has called home recently. As we mourn their passing, let us rejoice at their birth to eternal life. Please Note: This list will be updated on September 30th and every 90 days thereafter. We ask that you contact the Parish Office at 722-1231 if you would like for the name of your family member to remain on the “Pray for the Sick” list.
