This weekend is our Catholic Sharing Appeal Commitment Weekend to support the work of the diocesan ministries. We invite all members of our parish community to join in support of our annual appeal. Our parish goal is $58,456.00. This year’s theme, “Whatsoever you do. . .” reminds us that no gift is too small! Every dollar donated is our unified effort for the wider church. Further, 100% of all paid contributions received, over the above our parish goal, will be returned to our parish for our local use here at Blessed Sacrament Parish. The Annunciation of the Lord Wednesday, March 25, 2020 The feast of the Annunciation of the Lord celebrates the angel Gabriel's appearance to the Virgin Mary (Luke 1:26-38), his announcement that the Blessed Virgin had been chosen to be the Mother of Our Lord, and Mary's fiat—her willing acceptance of God's holy plan.
