All Youth in the Parish are invited to Eucharistic Adoration and
Praise and Worship. From May 31 to August 9 our Wednesday Eucharistic Adoration
at 7:30 pm will take place in the context of Praise and Worship Music. The idea is to attract the young people of the parish. Please invite others. Blas Cardonne Jr. will be in charge of the music. He is looking for singers and pianists to assist him. If anyone is interested, please call Blas at 786-223-3204 or email him at [email protected] for an audition.
Summer is here, and many people go away on vacation. Please remember that the parish expenses continue in the same way during those months and we could not survive without your contribution. MESSAGE from Fr. Alfaro
Dear Parishioners, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Fr. Martin Guyot for the service he's rendered to our community during the past
few months. He has been a blessing to all of us. He has edified us through his conferences, his homilies and through his witness of life. I wish I could be present to bid him farewell, but the Archbishop has asked me to be present at the Convocation of Catholic Leaders on the New Evangelization which is taking place in Orlando this weekend. Please pray for Fr. Martin as he goes back to his diocese of Versailles in France to continue the mission of Christ in his part of the world. We thank God for his priesthood and for having had the chance to meet him and journey together with him for a few months. We will miss you Fr. Martin. A bientôt! Queridos miembros de la Parroquia, Aprovecho esta oportunidad para agradecer al Padre Martín Guyot por el servicio que ha brindado a nuestra comunidad durante estos últimos meses. El P. Martin ha sido una bendición para todos nosotros; nos ha edificado a través de sus conferencias, sus homilías y su testimonio de vida. Quisiera haber podido estar presente para despedirme de él, pero el arzobispo me ha pedido ir a una convocatoria sobre la nueva evangelización, que se lleva a cabo en Orlando este fin de semana. Oremos por el Padre Martin ahora que regresa a su diócesis de Versailles en Francia para continuar la misión que el Señor le ha encomendado en su parte del mundo. But you were not made for comfort, you were made for greatness.”. Choosing “comfort” puts me first. “Picking up your cross and following Jesus” puts God and others first. Why would you settle for comfort when you can achieve greatness! Pick up your cross, put yourself in Jesus’ hands and ask for guidance on using your gifts then live the life God has intended for you! “ ..el que no toma su cruz y me sigue, no es digno de mí.” - MATEO 1O: 38 El Papa Benedicto XVI dijo: “El mundo te ofrece comodidad.
