    Lot 42. END OF DAY, Ribbon Onionskin. Very rare marble. Ribbon Onionskin. Core is sparse white, covered with transparent pink, suffused with air bubbles. Nice flattened ribbon. Lobe on either side. One stray stretched fleck of blue on the surface. Very rare. Germany, circa 1870-1920. 27/32". Mint (9.9). Estimate:$225-$450 160

    Lot 44. END OF DAY, Cloud Onionskin. Rare single-pontil, four-panel, ribbon, Cloud Onionskin. Opaque white core. Two panels of pink, two panels of turquoise. The pink are wider and are flattened to form the ribbon. The pink panels are also slightly lobed or crimped. A couple of stray pieces of mica on the core. Open hole in the core at the top. One tiny dirt spot on the surface. All original. This one has it all. Cloud, ribbon, panels, lobes, and condition. Very rare. Germany, circa 1870-1920. 25/32". Mint (9.5). Estimate:$375-$750 160
