01. Abstract

With the advent of blockchain technology, mind-boggling changes in the existing

centralized service platforms have begun in various areas, across countries and

industries. Now, the public is starting to recognize that blockchain technology is

the leading technology in the 4th industry with economic value. As a result,

various countries and companies around the world are attempts to converge

existing industries and blockchain.

Blockchain technology is attracting attention as a distributed ledger technology

that allows all participants to jointly verify, record, and store transaction

information on the network and record & manage distributed information in

02. Background

Credit card processing fees for domestic online and offline business range from

0.8% to 3.1% and in the case of online business, 0.5 ~ 1.0% of PG (Payment

Gateway) fee is composed separately. However, this credit card fees are putting

a heavy burden on the deteriorating business environment of small, medium and

micro business. Therefore, it is time to introduce a new platform that can benefit

In 2025, half of the world's smartphone users are expected to use

cryptocurrency as a methods of easy transfer and easy payment. In addition,

08. BridgeChain Terminal

BridgeChain Terminal will also develop an easy payment solution for cryptocurrency

with Kiosks. The Kiosk works with servers in BridgeChain platforms to provide users

with real-time pricing information for WBG and other cryptocurrency, and users can

pay for products through WBG Coin at stores where kiosk is installed. Kiosk is used in

09. BridgeChain Payment Process

When a user requests product purchase from a merchant’s store installed where

the BridgeChain Terminal, the merchant prepares an order form through Terminal

and Wallet, and sends the information through API to the BridgeChain.

BridgeChain's API generates QR code for payment requests from the merchant and

sends them to the merchant's Terminal and Wallet. The generated QR code can be

scanned from the user's Wallet and paid by cryptocurrency or mileage (points). The

user checks the balance of the cryptocurrency and mileage in Wallet for

payment requests and requests for final payment approval. In the BridgeChain,

the merchant & the user's payment information and the user's balance

information are checked, and the payment is approved, canceled, or rejected. If

payment is approved, canceled or rejected, it is stored in the blockchain and sent

to the merchant and the user about the result of the payment request. The
