Creating a Portfolio in Blogger

In the Design Menu

Select the “Add a Gadget” link

To Add A Gadget

Choose the “basics” option and scroll down to “Link List”

Link List

Select the “Link List” by clicking the plus sign

Options for Link listYou will create two of these gadgets for your blog: 1 for “Portfolio – Depth” and another for “Portfolio – Breadth”

Title your Link List

Determine how you will sort your entries

Enter the URL for yourlink

Title your link

How to Link Your Blog Posts as Portfolio Images

Open Your Blog in a New Tab

Click the plus sign to add a new search window and open up your blog (type in the web address)

Keep your editing page open (the page you are working on) and openyour blog in a new window

Open a Post

Click on the title of your post – this will allow you to show only this post and it will have it’s own web

address

Copy the URL

Highlight the entire URL (web address) and copy it by pressing “command ‘C’” or choose edit copy

Return to Your Editing Page

Click here to open up your edit layout tab and return to your link list

Paste the URLPaste the URL here (command ‘P’ or edit paste) this will link viewers to this blog posting

Title your work here

Add More LinksContinue to add links from each post by following the same steps. Don’t forget to title each piece and save it in the appropriate link category (depth or breadth).

Click save to apply this “Link List” to your blog

Congratulations!

Now you have a portfolio of posts using the “Link List” gadget created by Blogger
