Only one visit to the home The first home visit is necessary to install the house connection, however during this visit everything can be pre-prepared so that the blowing-in process can be carried out at a later date from outside the property.

Only one technician RAUSPEED EasyConnect is designed so that the blowing-in process only requires one person. Even large developments with many connections require no additional support; saving you money on personnel costs.

Less time and planning With conventional fibre optic home installations, arranging appointments with homeowners can be one of the largest issues. They need to be available during certain times, more than one appointment is needed, the blowing-in team must arrive on time etc. However once REHAU EasyConnect is installed, you have complete scheduling flexibility, as you can plan the remaining work when it’s convenient for you.

RAUSPEED EasyConnect reduces the work required for blowing-in to a minimum, creating maximum efficiency.

Previously:You arrange an appointment with the homeowner to install the house connection, for this the technician needs access to the home. You then arrange a second appointment to blow-in the fibre optic cables and seal the cable. This process requires two technicians: one to operate the blowing-in device and one in the home to receive the cable.

This means that every homeowner needs to be present for both appointments. In addition, the employee operating the blowing-in device experiences downtime, as they have to wait for their colleague to access the next unit. If we look at this process for a large development, it can quickly turn into a planning nightmare.

Today:Together with the house connection, the blowing-in box is installed in the home at the end of the micro duct. Once done, no further access is required to the home. The technician who is blowing-in the cable can take care of the entire area later from the cable distribution point, without any extra help and without downtime between the individual units.

The fibre optic cables are slowed down safely when they enter the RAUSPEED EasyConnect blowing-in box. An excess cable length is available for splicing, which can be done at a later date.
