What is the SAP Work Completion Process?

Work Orders are “Technically Completed”

Notifications are closed with technical findings recorded

Notes may be recorded via an order confirmation

How is an order “Technically Completed”?

Orders are usually Technically Completed (TECO) from a list:

SAP offers to complete the notifications at the same time. Since we are going to record technical results with the notification, “Complete Orders” is selected.

SAP indicates which orders were processed with the check mark. If the “Refresh” icon is selected, these orders will drop from the list.

The top portion of this screen is for time entry when CATS is not used. The text is entered in the “Confirm Text” field. Long text may be used.

The “Homework” List -Fill in the floor number (if you know it) for the spreadsheet with "Unknown" floor. -Develop a priority list (or lists) by notification type or order type for your area -Determine which fields should be eliminated or required on the notification screens -Develop a list of Damage, Cause of Damage, and Activity codes -Determine if additional (or fewer) order types are required for your area -Determine a list of "Maintenance Activity Types" for your area and decide which order types should have which Maintenance Activity Types

-Determine a list of "User Statuses" by Order Type for your area. (Different order types may have different statuses.) -Determine the criteria for the "Object Info Box" to pop up for repeated work on a room or equipment. 

-Determine which fields should be eliminated or required on the order screens
