Inherent Flame Retardant Fabrics

Nomex® IIIAMade from Nomex® Fibres (DuPont) which are inherently flame resistant, it does not diminishwith the life of the fabric. It gives protection against flash fire and electric arc exposure.Furthermore it has got excellent tensile properties, chemical resistance and thermal stability. It isblended with 5% Kevlar for inhibiting thermal shrinkage and 2% P140 carbon based anti-static forprotection from static hazards

Protex®Protex® is made from inherent flame resistant Modacrylic fibres from Kaneka Corporation, Japan.Protex exhibits a high LOI, blends perfectly with natural & man-made fibres to produce highquality fabrics. It does not melt or drip when ignited, the blended fabric will self extinguish & form a char barrierthat works as a shield to minimize fire damage.

Inherent Flame Retardant Fabrics

AramidInnovative inherent flame retardant fabric made of blended aramid fibers in composition of 93%Meta-Aramid, 5% Para-Aramid, 2% Antistatic. Its inherent thermal protection cannot be washed away, it is durable & resistant to abrasion. Otherexcellent characteristics being light weight & breathable, which make it very comfortable to wear.

Tecasafe PlusTenCate Tecasafe® Plus with Coolderm™ Technology is engineered to provide unbeatable electricarc and flash fire protection that lasts twice as long as chemically treated cotton fabrics. It is a soft and lightweight fabric that provides unmatched comfort. It’s inherent protection willnever wash out or wear away.

Treated Flame Retardant Fabrics

Proban®PROBAN® is a quality controlled technological process that gives cotton & cotton rich woven & knitted textiles flame retardant properties that are durable for long term use. Articles manufactured from PROBAN® fabrics provide reliable flame retardant performance and peace of mind to industrial, institutional and end-consumers through-out the world while conforming with industry fire regulations.

Pyrovatex®Pyrovatex® is a treated fabric that offers the best overall fire protection available for cotton. Treated fabrics barely shrink or melt when exposed to heat and fires, thereby ensuring that the skin is not exposed to hazardous conditionKey Characteristics are outstanding durability to wash & wear, which assures long life of the clothing. Finishes have negligible influence on fabric coloration & therefore preserve flexibility to meet specific color demands. They have good compatibility with other treatments, permitting the creation of multifunctional garments.

Fabrics – Cotton & Polyester

Cotton & Cotton Blends Cotton is the most versatile, the most valuable and the most widely used of all fabrics. “The King” in the literal sense of all fabrics. And even better than that, it is inexpensive.Major properties like absorbency, comfortability, ease of laundering, durability, affinity to dyes, good resistance to alkalies, organic solvents, ease of treatment, make it an ideal choice for industrial and safety workwear.

Polyester & Polyester Blends Synthetic fiber developed in the 1950’s by DuPont. It is stronger and more stiffer than cotton. They also have better wrinkle resistance and easy care properties. Polyester fibres are also cheaper to produce than cotton fibres. However, being more stiffer and less absorbent than cotton, makes them a little less comfortable. This then leads the way for blending it with cotton to make it more comfortable, durable and easy to wear.

Fabrics – Nylon and Wool

Nylon & Nylon Blends Invented by DuPont, and the first truly synthetic fiber, completely made from petrochemicals. Nylon is valued for its light weight, incredible tensile strength, durability, and resistance to damage. It also takes dye easily, making the fabric available in a wide array of colors for consumers.Generally used in protective wear as a blend and for cold weather clothing due to its high resistance to moisture absorbency.

WoolWool is a protein fibre. a natural, highly crimped hair fibre derived from different breeds of sheep. Worsted fabrics are made from highly twisted yarns of long fine wool fibres usually blended with polyester fibre whereas woolen fabrics are made from less twisted yarns of coarser wool fibres.Fabrics constructed of blends of cotton, wool & polyester are used for protective apparel to impart particular properties such as strength, durability, or dimensional stability.
