Blythe Park PTA Minutes – General Meeting April 16, 2019 ...A. Raging Waves (Strama): receive...

Blythe Park PTA Minutes – General Meeting April 16, 2019 – 8:30am In Attendance: Jill Crist, Karla Highland, Julie Avina, Angela Staron, Amy Wysocki, Deb Strama, Kelley Migacz, Karen Bassing, Casimira Gorman Motion by Karla Highland: Move to approve the minutes from the March General meeting. Seconded without dissent. Staff Reports: Karen Bassing: The staff would like to thank PTA for supporting our programs. Casimira Gorman: Thank you for the hydroponics systems; the children are learning so much. IAR testing is wrapping up this Friday; it has been a positive testing experience and we are so proud of the kids. Earth Week, the kids will tally up garbage and try to reduce one small thing. Open House is April 25 with EL sing at 5:45pm and 5 th grade tug-o-war will be at 7:45pm. Registration for K-5 is open and the link is on the website. May 10 there will be a facility meeting regarding the long- range plan for Blythe Park. Officer Reports: A. Seconded without dissent. Motion by Kelley Migacz: Move to accept changes to standing rules. Seconded without dissent. H. Communications-Amy Wysocki: none Old Business: A. Raging Waves (Strama): receive packet of forms to be processed. B. Bake Sale 4/2 (Strama): we raised $150 C. 5 th Grade Games Night 4/5 (Strama): the night was a success; we went over budget $38 and the excess will be split between Ames, Central and Blythe. D. Box Tops (Isaccson): none E. Hot Lunch (Ford): none
