The Off-Season Football Training Program at Bo Jackson’s Elite Sports is designed to teach grade school and junior high aged athletes the fundamentals of the game while offering a uniquely competitive atmosphere. Over seven weeks of instruction, the Bo Jackson Football staff will cover the essentials of each offensive and defensive position.

Before high school, an athlete’s position may change several times. We firmly believe a comprehensive knowledge of the game fosters a more complete football player.

Each one of our four Off-Season Football Training Programs, First & Ten, Two-Minute Drill, Spring Ball, and Training-Camp present a unique perspective on the fundamentals of the game. Every Bo Jackson Football player will be challenged physically and mentally as they compete in games and drills with and against their peers.

We understand the importance of developing a bigger, stronger and faster athlete. Research has shown cross training, muscle confusion and functional training are the best ways for our young athletes to safely improve their athleticism. For this reason, each session will be comprised of 60 minutes of position specific football instruction and 60 minutes of strength, speed and agility training.

Game time is right around the corner. As we prepare for our upcoming season, athletes and coaches will put together everything we have worked on this off-season. The focus of Training Camp is to apply the fundamentals we’ve learned to game-like drills, situations and scrimmages to prepare our athletes mentally and physically for their season.

May 16 - June 27Saturdays 9am - 11am 2 hour session 7 Week Program $ 250 per player

First & Ten, the first season of our Off-Season Training Program, lays the groundwork for our athletes. During First & Ten, the Bo Jackson coaches will cover the fundamentals of safe tackling and blocking, pass catching and coverage, and what it means to be a safe, smart football player.

A broad understanding of the game is the best way for your son to be a leader on the field. Therefore, each week our athletes will be challenged with position specific drills to help them become a complete football player.

In the life of a football player at any level, spring is the time to sharpen your game mentally and physically. During Spring Ball our players and coaches will adopt the mentality of a college program as we work to prepare our athletes on the field and in the classroom.

By spending time on the field and in the film room, Spring Ball will delve into what it means to be a smarter football player. The Bo Jackson Football coaches will teach our athletes the basic offensive and defensive formations and schemes used from the youth level to the NFL.

The average length of an NFL play is only seven seconds and there are roughly 130 plays in an NFL game. Each one of these plays presents a unique situation for athletes and coaches alike. For this reason, Two-Minute Drill has been designed to teach our athletes about the dozens of situations presented during every football game.

Each week our athletes will be presented with a different position-specific football situation that challenges them mentally and physically. The Bo Jackson coaches will push our athletes to think on their feet during pressure-packed situations.
