Background

May 2006: most recent UL meetingpresentation about the upgrade

June 2006: we delayed go-live due to

critical issues Since then: we worked with the vendor to

resolve critical issues

Now: were moving forward

Why Upgrade?

Our current version (version 5) is nolonger supported

Users have asked MAIS to provide Data

Warehouse reporting over the Web

Note: This upgrade affects only

BusinessObjects usersuse of the DataWarehouse through any other tool is

unaffected.

some time to provide flexibility

Converting Reports

Repository reports MAIS will convert & make available at go-live

User reports

Process for submitting reports will be somewhat different thanwhat we announced in June 2006 based on our experience

with repository report conversion Details on the process will be announced

Users will send reports to MAIS for conversion after go-live

Prepare now:

Delete reports you no longer need

Think about which reports you need to use after the go-live
