Attachment A (Personnel), Page 13- A Professional Statement - Career, Alternative, & Adult Education Kenneth Plumb, Jr. –Criminal Justice Teacher Kenneth comes to us with twenty years in the NY State Police. During his time as a trooper, Mr. Plumb was a member of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and also a School Resource Officer. His experiences with the State Police will enhance the curriculum he will be responsible to teach. Mr. Plumb comes highly recommended and will be an excellent addition to the BOCES staff. She has worked with both elementary and secondary students and is certified to teach Early Childhood Education. She has extensive experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and as a Certified Occupational Therapist. She has worked hourly for us for 7 years and is leaving her position with N.Y.S. Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities to come to BOCES. We are extremely fortunate to have Shari joining our staff. Return to appointments

Albany with a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and Methodology and a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology. In June 2008 she completed a one year internship at Thousand Islands Central School. She has participated in numerous training experiences beyond her graduate work. Staci will be relocating to St. Lawrence County and working at Lisbon Central School and on the Pre-school evaluation team. Return to appointments

She is currently working to complete her Masters degree. Susan lives in Ogdensburg. Last year she was the .5 FTE elementary art teacher at Morristown Central School. This year, based upon Board approval, she will be a shared art teacher between Morristown Central School and Norwood-Norfolk Central School. Return to appointments

Attachment A (Personnel), Page 19- A Professional Statement – Instruction and Staff Development Sonya Smith – Reading Teacher Susan received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Sociology in 1988 from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Potsdam and her Master of Science as a Reading Specialist from SUNY at Potsdam in 1994. Sonya holds permanent certification as a Reading Specialist. She also holds certification as an Elementary Teacher, grades N-6. Last year, Sonya worked in Brasher Falls as a Universal Pre-Kindergarten Teacher Assistant in the morning and as a Reading Teacher Assistant in the afternoon where she had taught second, third, and fourth grades, as well. She has held long term substitute positions at Brasher Falls and Malone and served as the Pre-Kindergarten Head Teacher at the SUNY Potsdam Child Care Center. She has received training in Reading First, DIBELS, and Effective Teaching among others. Sonya is a resident of Nicholville and is very active in the Brasher Falls PTO and community.
