TRIMESTER EVOLUTION OF CONSTRUCTION SECTOR IN BRASIL

SOURCE: IBGE

IntroductionSometimes an expansion is the best answer for a business. Due to the

recent international financial crisis many international companies are

directing their attention to high growing markets across the globe.

Brazil, as the largest country in South America, both in geographical

and commercial terms, has a huge economic potential throughout

many sectors.

Likewise, Real Estate market in Brazil is growing fast and represents

approximately 13% of the country’s GDP. The Brazilian construction

sector is facing its best performance, attracting huge investments in

the areas of energy, transport, housing, sanitation and hospitality.

However, starting a real estate development, whether an investment

or business expansion. is not as simple as it initially looks.

The complexity of construction projects.A Real Estate development is invariably complex,

consisting of many varied interrelated elements. In fact

the construction process may be considered the most

complex undertaking in any industry. It is a dynamic,

dissipative and non-linear system, that requires a

significant investment of time and dedication from its

initiator, as well as a profound understanding of design

and building aspects.
