Last week we looked at Aboriginal Astronomy, in particular the ‘Dark Emu’ of our Milky Way. Science: In science this term we are studying the solar system. Students are enjoying learning about the features of planets and human space exploration. Art: The focus of our art lessons this term is First Nation’s art. Dot paintings, rock art, bark painting and other contemporary forms are being examined. Music: Music is on Thursday afternoons and students are learning recorder this term. We have several English and Hungarian folksongs which sound beautiful on recorder. Sport: This term students are travelling to Taree Ten Pin Bowling each Friday for sport.
