POWER LIFTING

Miss. S. Logeswari, H-II of this division selected and participated in All India Railway Power

Lifting Championship, 2013-14 from S.E.Railway and the team became 2nd

Runner. She has

been selected for participation in National Level and All India Railway Women Power Lifting

Championship. Also she participated in Federation Cup Power Lifting Championship and

secured 1st

position with Gold Medal. She has also been selected for other All India level power

lifting championships.

AQUATICS

Sri Bidyut Mirdha, TE, Pritish Das and Somenath Roy, skilled artisian of this division have been

selected and participated in Inter Railway Aquatics Championship from S.E.Railway and the

S.E.Railway Team ssecured 1st place with Gold Medal. They all have also been selected for

Indian Railway Coaching Camp in which Sri Somenath Roy and Sri Bidyut Mirdha participated in

Sr. National Championship and secured 2nd position with Silver Medal. Sri Bidyut Mirdha,

Pritish Das and Somenath Roy have also participated in the All India Railways Aquatics

Championship, 2013-14 in which Water Polo Team has secured 1st position and Swimming

Team has secured 4th position. They have also been participated in Indian Railways Aquatics

Team in the Sr. National Aquatics Championship, 2013 and secured 2nd position.

TABLE TENNIS

Sri Rajib Sarkar, TE/ADA has been selected to represent North Bengal Table Tennis Team for

participation in the Sr. National and Inter State Table Tennis Championship as well as Youth

National Championship to be held in 2014. He has also been participated in Inter Divisional and

NationalTT/Youth Championship.

ATHELETICS

Sri Vipul Rana, TE/BKSC has participated Inter Railway Atheletic Meet at Delhi, 2013 and

secured Bronze Medal in 800 mtrs. & 1500 mtrs. race. In the same meet Sri Sukhendu Mondal,

TE/BQA secured Bronze Medal in Relay Race. Sri Vipul Rana has been selected for National

Championship.

CHESS

Chess team of this division has participated in Inter Divisional Chess Championship and secured

3rd place. Imran Hussain, Hel-II has been selected for Inter Railway Team of S.E.Railway.

CRICKET

In Cricket discipline Sri Prakash Munda, Hel-II has been selected for his outstanding

performance in Inter Railway Team. He and Sri Rajen Singh, PM-II are now playing regularly in

BNR team.
