Wine Analysis:
Shiraz Full-bodied Red Wine
This wine was whole berry fermented and cold soaked. Halfway through fermentation, half of the wine was pumped into French Oak barrels and dry fermented. The rest was left to ferment dry on the skin. It was then racked into 2nd and 3rd fill French Oak barrels for 12—15 months. Jacques Bruwer
Ripe red berry fruit reminiscent of spicy plum jam complimented by pepper and vanilla.
Full rounded mouth with soft tannins. Red berry flavours and
spice follow through from the nose. Made to be enjoyed now or within 3-4 years.
Ideal with rich stews, spicy game casseroles, roast pork with sweet sauce.
