As you work closely with our Certified Wedding Planner, you’ll choose from several customized wedding packages and services to create the most unforgettable day.

Our award winning executive chef will work with you to create an artistically scripted evening. We’ll handle all of the details so you can relax before your special day.

Rehearsal Space

If your rehearsal takes place at the hotel, the site will be determined based upon the number of guests and the availability of space. Rehearsal Space is provided complimentary based on availability. Set-up fees will be waived for banquet chairs and staging as long as hotel is not required to set the room twice. Chivari chairs can be rented for $5.00* per guest and are required for outdoor ceremonies. Additional costs may be incurred depending upon the complexity of the set-up.

It is the responsibility of the bride to specify a family member or hire a professional ceremony coordinator. The wedding ceremony coordinators listed on our vendor list are professionals that we have worked with and who are familiar with the Marriott Solana Hotel.*Pricing may vary by season

Rehearsal

A rehearsal dinner sets the tone for the Wedding. Solana can offer a relaxing ambience in our living room with a fireplace or one of our brand new banquet areas. We can orchestrate a relaxing, informal evening full of great company, fun toasts and even ice breaking games. Rely on us to create an evening of elegance and sophistication if that is your desire.

Once upon a time, a rehearsal dinner was only for the wedding party and the immediate family of the bride and groom. Now you may decide to invite out of town guests, we have newly renovated room accommodations for all of your guests. At your request, we'll present a thoughtful gift upon arrival, the start of many special memories for you and your guests.

General Information and Catering ProceduresWe are pleased that you are considering the Marriott Solana as apossible location for your special celebration. The following information is designed to help you with your planning and to answer some of the questions you may have regarding our hotel and services provided.

Floral Arrangements by Out of the Garden

A custom centerpiece from the expert designers at Out of the Garden is included with our packages. You are welcome to upgrade these arrangements and pay the difference directly to Out of the Garden. Out of the Garden will also be delighted to assist you with bouquets, alter arrangements, buffet centerpieces or any other floral needs that you may have. Out of the Garden is available for floral consultations by appointment only.

Bride and Groom Cakes by Delicious Cakes

A custom bridal cake (servings for full guest count) and custom groom cake (for half of guest count) is included in our packages. You are welcome to upgrade these cakes and pay the difference directly to Delicious Cakes. Please note there is a $55.00 delivery and set-up fee for cakes. Delicious Cakes is available for consultation by appointment only.

Culinary

Please review the enclosed menu selections. All of our menus may be customized to further meet your needs and the needs of your attending guests. A Complimentary menu tasting for our plated meal service is available for up to four guests. Your Menu Tasting will be scheduled by your Event Manager/Certified Marriott Wedding Planner. Dallas/Fort Worth Marriott Solana will be pleased to handle the catering needs for all events held at the hotel. No food or beverage, with the exception of wedding cakes, may be brought into the Dallas/Fort Worth Marriott Solana.

Linens and Chairs

You may choose from Hotel inventory of linen including floor-length linens at no additional charge.

Your selection of elegant Chair covers is available with pricing beginning at $7.50 per chair.

If you desire additional specialty colors or printed linens, we can arrange the rental of cloths on your behalf with our preferred rental agency; prices dependent upon your selection. Ballroom chairs are standard; however we may certainly assist you in the rental of specialty chairs.

Chivari Chairs are an elegant option for your wedding celebration and are available in gold or silver as well as a variety of wood tones; prices dependent upon your selection.

Specialty Lighting

Allow our Event Technology department to transform your room with warm and glowing special effect lighting, from simple wall wash to more elaborate custom light messages welcoming your guest.

Packages begin at $300.00 for Color Light Wall Wash or choose a Custom Light Gobo announcing the Bride and Groom for $250.

Additional costs may be incurred depending upon the complexity of the set-up.

Event Times

Dallas/Fort Worth Marriott Solana allows four hours for receptions and one hour for ceremonies.

Additional time will be negotiated on an individual basis and reflected in your Group Sales Agreement. Event hours may last as late as 2:00 a.m.

Parking

Parking is available in our parking garage and is free of charge to your guests

Your attendees can even make bookings directly through Marriott.com and receive e-mail confirmation.

Deposits and Final Payment Information

A deposit is required to secure your event space on a definite basis. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 payable by cash, check or credit card is due along with your signed contract. A completedcredit card authorization form is also required on all events. Your final payment is due three working days prior to your event.

Acceptable methods of payment for your final balance arePersonal Check, Credit Card, Certified Check or Cash.

A minimum guarantee of 90% of guests is required 72 hours prior to the event. You will be charged according to your guarantee or actual attendance, whichever is greater. Final payment is due five business days prior to the event.

Miscellaneous Charges

Some additional charges may be incurred while planning your wedding.

These charges may include but are not limited to Vendor Meals for your band, photographer and videographer, as well as the necessary power requirements for your band and/or DJ. Table Wine Service adds an impressive personalized level of service for your guests. Pricing is determined by the number of additional servers required and yourselection of wines. Please consult your Certified Marriott Wedding Planner for more details.

Minimum Revenues

A total food and beverage revenue minimum will apply to your event.

This minimum is determined based upon the event space you require (or desire) and a minimum package price per person. This minimum may vary based upon the season and date of interest.

Service Charge and Sales Tax

A taxable 24% service charge and 8.25% sales tax will apply to all applicable Services and Food and Beverage.
