Project Title:Fostercat

Media Used: Adobe Photoshop CS4 Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 Adobe Illustrator CS4

Research Criteria:Research limited solely to the current Fostercat website and qualita-tive assumptions made regarding their primar y target and secondar y supplemental audiences.

Target Audience:Women ages 18-75.

Concept:Regardless of format, utilize the strong emotional content found in adorable cat photography and introduce a terrible, death-related con-cept to contrast the qualities of the visuals– and inspire a person into action.

Solutions:Solutions necessitated the use method of introducing adorable cat photography and contrasting it with a macabre, off-putting concept to drive forth inspiration and subsequent action [adoption.] The print advertisements are more direct and emotionally challenging than the website, which though still using the same type of method, reduces that dramatic emotional content considerably as to keep viewers on the web page longer.
