Seeks Absolute Divorce from CharlesW. Wildrieh.

M:*.Florence Burns Wildrlck, v.ho gained muchnotoriety after the murder of Walter Brooks atthe Glen Island Hotel In 1902, again comes beforethe public. This time she is the- complainant Inan action for absolute divorce from her husband.Charles White Wildrick, in which she asks thecourt for J_3 a week alimony and $200 counsel fees.Justice Crane, sitting in the Supreme Court, beforeT.'hom counsel appeared yesterday, took the papersIn the case and said ho would read them carefullybefore giving his decision.

The case against Florence Burns when she wasarrested, chared with the shooting and KillingofBrooks, attracted considerable attention at the.time. She was discharged by Julius M. Mayer, atthat time a justice of Special Sessions, sitting as amagistrate.

She was married to WlKrfefc in 1993. Inher ap-plication for divorce she asserts that he lias treat-ed her cruelly, and that, he has frequently said he.wanted to get rid of her so that lie might marryn«ai-i. even asking her to divorce him. Accordingto Mrs. WHdrlck. her married life has been an un-happy one, and at the present time she requiresmedical attendance ts a result of th« treatmentwhich she »•;>>\u25a0 she received from her husband, andfor which she is unable to pay. she says thather husband Is well able to provide for her, as hola living"very comfortably and luxuriously."

Wildrick, in his answer, denies all the chargesmade against him by his wife, and asserts thatshe keeps certain disreputable company. He ac-cuses her of sending postal cards containing de-famatory statements to his office which could boseen by his employers and fellow clerks.
