QUALITY RESOURCES FOR EDUCATION

Page 3: Booklet worlddidac v2

Worlddidac is the global trade association for companies providing products for education and training at all levels. The association has currently 161 member companies and organiza-tions from 39 countries and is the only globally operating organization in this business sector.

The supply of educational resources to schools, training centers and other educational institu-tions works differently in every country or re-gion. The role of the Worlddidac Association is to increase the transparency about the major play-ers, products and distribution channels and to help manufacturers find their distributors. Every year Worlddidac enriches its circle of members with international manufacturers, distributors, dealers and international associations of high quality products and solutions, that profit from the global educational network.

The history of Worlddidac goes back to 1952, when it had been founded with the aim to sup-port companies active in the education market on a global scale.

Worlddidac organizes international trade shows on different continents, which serve as platforms for producers, distributors, educational institu-tions, governmental departments, and relevant end-users. The world-renowned network of Worlddidac exhibitions are located among oth-ers in Switzerland, India, Hong Kong, V.A.E. and Kazakhstan. The association is continually ex-panding its network worldwide, and makes con-tacts available to its members.

It is also organizer of the biannually held World-didac Award, an international recognition for high-quality educational resources.
